There are several problems when pasting copied web page content"
1 - embedded images are distorted
2 - Lines of text get a large amount of extra space added between lines
3 - Blocks of code that are formatted on the screen are pasted without newlines
for comparison, neither Word (Mac and PC) nor freeoffice does not exhibit these
problems.
Every time I try to do this in LO (my preferred app) I end up having to resort
to one of the others depending on the platform. Today it was Linux
