            Bug ID: 164486
Summary: Navigation Area Constantly Resets to Top of Document
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: All
                OS: Windows (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

This comment is for the Left navigation area.

I am working with a large document with several hundred footnotes that I am
editing. Rather than the scroll/slider staying at my current location, as soon
as I edit my item, the scroller immediately jumps to the very highest item of
the document outline, i.e. 'Headers'. Every single time I move to my next edit
I have to scroll down that entire outline. (Yes, I understand, and do, collapse
levels. But it becomes a pain to once again scroll down to another footnote in
the 300 to 400 range.

It would be really great, and very much appreciated if you would configure that
navigation area to stay where I left it.

Thank you! And by the way, I really do love the program; never going back to my
paid version of Microshaft.

Paul
