            Bug ID: 164488
Summary: Enhancement request: Add possibility of KeyID language
                    pack, also for non-development-versions
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: Localization
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
Development versions and beta versions of LibreOffice comes with the
possibility of the user interface "KeyID", an English user interface where each
item is preceded by the 5-character ID for the string in the (Weblate)
translation system. The result is not pretty, but can be very helpful to locate
given string in the Weblate system, especially if if the string is a word or
phrase that appears many times in different context, like "format" or "edit".

However, once non-development status has been reached (version type x.x.0.1 or
later), the KeyID user interface is no longer a possibility.

Suggestions: Add the KeyID user interface as a possibility that can be chosen
to add during installation. It is already a possibility to install more than
one user interface.

For an installation with KeyID included, it is possible to get a non-pretty
(and somewhat confusing) user interface. But this will only occur as an active
choice, and only for those users that actively chose to install that user
interface. The large group of users that choose a suitable language for LO and
then install the package as standard, will never notice that KeyID could have
been included, too. The few users looking through the list and wondering what
"KeyID" is, gets that chance to see. The users working on translation of LO
will have the possibility of a new tool.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. To see KeyID, install a development version earlier than x.x.0.1 (Alpha or
Beta)
2. To see that KeyID is not present in regular version, look for it during
installation of a regular version.

Actual Results:
For regular version, it is not possible to choose KeyID on the language list.

Expected Results:
It would be a helpful tool to have the possibility of (actively) installing the
KeyID user interface also in RC and regular released versions.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
Applies to any LO version.
