--- Comment #23 from DenisMtz <[email protected]> --- Hi to All, Thanks a lot for your inputs. I am pleased to announce the Issue is not solved. The Guilty item is MacOS Network layer causing LibreOffice to go wrong but not others Apps. For some unknown reasons : (switching for Wired Network to Wifi ?, or when MacOs updated the System? or else ?) ANYWAY, as a matter of fact : the initial 'HOSTname' has been altered to another (supplementary?) 'HOSTname-001' ... and probably came back later to initial ... Making this , just tricky to find ! BTW, This just prove that LO , when recording, refers to something related to the HostName of the Computer. If not finding the expected one mentioned in the properties = Writing Error (but not when creating a new file) [ étonnant!] Apple Time Machine too ! has the issue too. SOLUTION : Finally, when I wanted to re-image the complete MacBook SSD disc at last sync point from Time Machine : it was unable to do it , not able to write into the SSD disc . while others apps could such as Apple Preview (Apercu in French). Catching the weird situation, at first : I saved onto an external media all files created since last Time Machine sync point. Second : I forced only the System Image MacOs to refresh up to latest version. = ReBoot + CmD+R + Re-image System Disc + when done : ReBoot + Launch Apple Assistant Migration + Choose Migrate (Data & Apps) from Time Machine external disc to a (this) New Computer. + Play the installation/declaration process for a new computer MacBook. + execute the Migration (Data & Apps) from Time Machine external disc @date of 25dec2025. This work fine, having now only to manually restore selected files from external media to retrieve my working situation since 25Dec2025 ( luckly not too much at that period ). :-)) Now , this would be nice to have an head up message to the Dev team to catch why LO is 'sensitive' to the HostName of the computer when writing whatever is the Media. With my best regards. Thank to you to decide what to do with this Bug (escalate or not ?) DenisMtz -- -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
