Joachim Breuer <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] --- Comment #6 from Joachim Breuer <[email protected]> --- I've also started to hit this a while ago and finally got around to properly researching it and report it as a bug. Since at this point an initial bug report already exists, I'd like to clarify with some more information: - For me, opening a file from WebDAV (using LibreOffice dialogs) works; saving "over" this file using WebDAV also WORKS. [When saving to Alfresco, with the Versionable aspect configured on the file, the version number also correctly increases.] - Saving to a *new* file on WebDAV (i.e. one that does not exist on the server yet) does NOT work; I get the error messages described by Klaus Wölfel in the original report. - After trying to save to a new file using WebDAV and having received the error messages, the document window gets "stuck" with the toolbars and most menu options greyed out. Closing the window no longer works, LO needs to be terminated(kill / Task Manager). - After the window got stuck and LO had to be killed, the document needs to be recovered using the document recovery wizard. Usually, this will recover a version which might be missing quite a time of editing before the save was attempted. - Saving to a new file using WebDAV USED to work sometime in the past, unfortunately I cannot really remember when this specific case last worked. Might have been (way) before the OpenOffice.org / LibreOffice split. - I get identical erroneous behaviour with LibreOffice 3.6.6.2 and 4.0.4.2 under Windows 7 x64, LibreOffice 3.6.6.2 (both the binary and the source packages) under gentoo Linux x64. - I get identical erroneous behaviour against both apache 2.2.24 mod_dav and WebDAV access to Alfresco versions from 3.4d to 4.2c inclusive. - I get identical erroneous behaviour both over https as well as using plain http through an SSH tunnel (avoiding SSL for testing/tracing purposes). - In the error case, no PUT is attempted on the WebDAV server. Instead, a number of PROPFIND and HEAD requests are issued against the new file name, which (understandably) all result in 404s; leading to the "XXXX does not exist" message shown in the UI. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
