--- Comment #2 from Adalbert Hanßen <[email protected]> --- I have to admit that I use LO Impress only rarely. I do not know, if LO Impress has a concept of Templates (aka Stylesheets) like LO Writer. But looking at the online help I am missing an overview chapter how such a concept shall be applied. Before your response I was thinking of Impress having "direct formatting" only. I have learned, there is more... Bot how can I e.g. create a collection of different arrow types (different thicknesses and other appearance settings) and then select from that after drawing an arrow? This would be a very useful feature and if it exists, I would like to know about it. Thanks for putting me on the right track with my actual problem, determining the thickness of an arrow and the form and size if the arrow-head.. Of course with your hint I was able to create a thicker arrow by using the context menu "Line" function. So we can regard this issue as resolved. There are not so many bugs in Impress. But colloquially, all formatting properties e.g. of a particular line would be referred to as a style. I was doing something for a particular line. I would rather call something that applies to many similar objects a template. The current terminology is somewhat unfortunate at this point. So that other beginners don't stumble over it, wouldn't it be better to call the present function "Edit Template" rather than "Edit Style"? The UI people might think about the naming of things in this area. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
