            Bug ID: 165042
Summary: Even with NEW install of CALC cannot get a
=sum(A2:A10) column add to work (all cells are coded
                    not num & gen
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 24.8.4.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: other
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Calc
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
My Hardware / OS
Not sure how to fit my hardware, and OS version into the drop down choices
provided in this bug report page. So I'm giving it to you manually.
Hardware=ThinkPad Intel(R) Core(TM)i9-10885H CPU@ 2.40GHz 64gb RAM 64-Bit
OS= Windows 11 Pro vers: 24H2 Windows patches up to date

Even on an uninstall and reinstall of libre Calc I cannot get a simple column
to add vertically even when all cells are coded number and general, and the
automated function key in upper left also fails. It simply lists the formula
=sum(A2:A10) in the cell.

NOTE:
What is odd is it is also occurring on sheets I created in Libre Calc weeks
months before and they no longer calculate either even some I had calculated in
recent days. I am uncertain if a recent update occurred that I may not have
noticed, or how to determine what version was previously installed if such
update occurred.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.on fresh install of Libre Office 24.8.4.2 open a new CALC sheet and try to
add a column manually using =sum(A2:A10) and also try doing using automated
function upper left screen. It simply lists the formula in the sum cell and
never calulates.
2. on a previously working CALC sheet try to do the same as in #1 above it
should fail. It just lists the formula in the sum cell.
3. move the sheet that fails in #2 above to another Windows 11 Pro desktop
computer running Libre Office CALC and the Sum function works fine both
manually and from the automated function key upper left.

Actual Results:
provided step by step in item above.

Expected Results:
Sum does not calculate as expected, just lists the formula typed in.
Please note all cells involved are NOT TEXT type, Number / General

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
Sum should have calculated.
