            Bug ID: 165082
Summary: LibreOffice Draw - Selecting multiple objects, copying
and pasting results in one ungroupable object. This is
                    useless.
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 24.2.7.2 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Draw
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
I am using Draw to create a floorplan. I frequently select smaller objects,
copy them and past them, rearrange their layout and then paste the new objects.
A fairly recent change has resulted in selection of multiple objects, copying
and pasting resulting in one object representing the copied objects but no way
at all to select individual components and make the desired modifications. In
my case, to work out design changes.

Though dealing with visible objects, this is absolutely associated with OBJECT
ORIENTED PROGRAMMING and the loss of being able to adjust child objects within
the parent in the context of a drawing program is a bug and flawed design.

Should also mention, I am finding more and more that copied objects have
altered dimensions. Frequently with 0.08' added to the dimensions both for
width and height.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Select multiple objects
2.Press Ctl-C to copy
3.Paste the copied selection of objects

Actual Results:
Pasting the copied selection of objects results in one combined object that
cannot be ungrouped, therefore is utterly worthless if one is trying to
redesign the layout of the child objects within the parent selection. The work
around is to, in great tedium, select each individual component of the parent
selection separately and move them individually. This in no way is an
acceptable solution.

Expected Results:
Expected results would be a copy of the selected objects results in what is a
TRUE copy, as in a selection of objects aligned and sized as in the original
selection and not in any way merged/grouped. A copy containing multiple,
individual, objects. The only objects that should be grouped/merged in the copy
are those that were merged/grouped prior to copying.

In other words, the very definition of a copy, not a simulated/simplified copy,
but a copy of what was selected. Same dimensions to each copied element, same
relative positioning, but individual objects.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
I hope I already stated this clearly in the expected results.
