Can you look in the shortcut keys list which function is linked to Ctrl+B?
(menu Tools - Customize - Keyboard tab)
> click on the B in the command line.
Could it be in the formatting toolbar? Or in the Properties sidebar?
> I could not find a command to "Reset user profile."
The culprit could be here. Open menu Help - Restart in Safe Mode.
> the highlighted line disappears
What happens if you select only some words of the paragraph?
What happens if do you have three paragraphs, select the second one, press
Ctrl+B, then select all (Ctrl+A), and clear direct formatting (menu Format, or
Ctrl+M)?
Dear Leroy,
I tried both tests and both erased the highlighted text when I clicked Ctrl-B.
Sincerely, Tim.
Steps to Reproduce:
1.write text
2.highlight it
3.use Ctrl-B
4.text disappears
Actual Results:
test disappears
Expected Results:
Highlighted text to be bold.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
