Bug ID: 165175
Summary: Difficult to select a line in Calc at low
magnification
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 25.2.0.3 release
Hardware: All
OS: macOS (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Calc
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
In LibreOffice 7.6 it was easy to select a line of a spreadsheet in Calc by
clicking once on the number of the line. The result was that the entire line
was selected.
In this version however, the same action of clicking once on the number of the
line causes an animation in which an inverse line flashes across the screen in
the middle of the line that was clicked, but the line is not selected.
In some cases, clicking many times may eventually result in the line being
selected. But usually it is necessary to increase the magnification of the
spreadsheet in order to be able to select a line.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a spreadsheet in Calc. Set the magnification to relatively low, e.g.
50%.
2. Click on a line number.
3.
Actual Results:
The animation described in the description occurs. (Unfortunately I don't see a
way to attach a screenshot to this bug report). The line is not selected.
Expected Results:
The line should be selected.
Reproducible: Sometimes
User Profile Reset: No
Additional Info:
[Information automatically included from LibreOffice]
Locale: en-US
Module: StartModule
[Information guessed from browser]
OS: Mac OS X (All)
OS is 64bit: no
I'm running Sequoia 15.2; I don't know if this problem happens on other
versions.
