--- Comment #1 from Robert Großkopf <[email protected]> ---
Missing some steps in the description.

Done this:
1. Opened a form for editing, not for input data.
2. Right mouse click on control → control properties
3. General → Font → button … and opened dialog "Character"
4. Set font here.
5. Try to reset.

Works here without any problem.

When changing the font and closing the dialog the changes will be saved.

Reopening dialog and change the font again → reset will reset what I have just
changed.

Might be you expect there will be a default, to which should be reset. But this
isn't the behavior of a normal "Reset"-Button. A reset button will only reset
to the entries before changing content.

Tested with
Version: 25.2.0.3 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: e1cf4a87eb02d755bce1a01209907ea5ddc8f069
CPU threads: 6; OS: Linux 6.4; UI render: default; VCL: kf5 (cairo+xcb)
Locale: de-DE (de_DE.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded
and also older versions like LO 7.4.7.2 → same behavior.
