I added the variable as described in the System Variable section so it will apply to all the LO routines. Restarted the PC and checked that the new variable was in place. Then I re-installed the LO vers 25.2.0.3 (rather than the new trial version you noted), tried a CALC file and was successful using COPY and PASTE now. Everything seems to be back to normal.
