            Bug ID: 165231
Summary: VIEWING crash opening a document
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 25.2.0.3 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

I am writing on an important document.

Is is 5MB in size, 23 pages long, has a page breaks for title, index, content,
endnote

I added an endnote section and started replacing placeholders with actual
endnotes.

Right when I was adding a single end note, writer started crashing on every
open.

Poorly I dont have backups of this file, Libreoffice always restores it, loads
it, scrolls in the file I think (I suppose it scrolls to the bottom for me to
add the end note) and crashes.

I run the Flatpak and have no other output apart from this

terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::out_of_range'
what(): basic_string_view::substr: __pos (which is 30) > __size (which is
20)
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::out_of_range'
what(): basic_string_view::substr: __pos (which is 27) > __size (which is
26)

when starting in safe mode, it works again.

I disabled all extensions, just kept "Writing Tool" in there and it happened
again.

I have removed it and for now it doesnt happen anymore.

So this might be an issue with that extension.
