            Bug ID: 165393
Summary: Selecting a character and overtyping changes format to
                    that of preceding char
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 25.2.0.0 alpha0+

          Priority: medium

If subscript characters are immediately followed by a normal character, then
changing the normal character (e.g. by over-typing it) changes it to be
subscript size.

I could not find any way to interactively modify a normal character immediately
following a subscript character without changing the normal char into a
subscript char.

Search-and-replace does not have the problem, i.e. the character is replaced
without affecting its formatting.

Please see attached demo.odt document.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

1. Enter a string of non-blank characters.
2. With the mouse, select all except the last character
3. Format->Character...->Position : check "Subscript", then OK
(all but last character appear smaller)
4. Select only the last character with the mouse and type something to replace
it

RESULTS: The last character is re-formatted to also be subscript.

EXPECTED: The format of the character should not change when simply over-typing
it.

(I suspect the problem has to do with how select works)
