test document to recreate indicated bug.
OK so I submitted a report on this about 1-2 years ago having to do with the
top sections of italicized characters being truncated when they are followed by
non-italicized characters or spaces. This truncation is ameliorated if the
character following is italicized in some situations but not always, e.g. not
when the following character is "(" even when italicized. The document uploaded
with this report is a test document with examples of this behavior and in
addition this test document has a narrative attached to it for explanation of
the manipulations that I did to make the problem appear and also to go away.
Now additionally the application crashed when I had my original working
document open at the same time as I was manipulating the test document. The
crash report is at Feb. 22, 2025, 10:04 p.m. and is:
