          Priority: medium
            Bug ID: 66159
          Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: failed assertion (abort) in SwIndex::operator< in
                    dbgutil build
          Severity: critical
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: All
          Reporter: [email protected]
          Hardware: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
           Version: 4.0.4.2 release
         Component: Writer
           Product: LibreOffice

Created attachment 81412

gdb session (including backtrace and more info)

Doing work in writer in my libreoffice-4-0 dev tree (dbgutil build), it fairly
often crashes/abort. I looked at the core file a few times, and it is always an
abort in SwIndex::operator<.

Updated to latest 4.0 (that is e54b0c7c36e7368d7b4fffd0ddd3f3c57349a938 +
backport of some of my commits), problem remains.

Here is one of these crashes in particular. It happened when, in an open
read-only .doc document, I went to menu Edit / Changes / Show. But similar
crashes happened other times while deleting/typing text.

This most probably happens only in a dbgutil build.
