Wanted to pop in that this issue is still active in version 25.2.0.3. In
Impress, if I add an image, put a shape over it, and have them intersect, the
underlying image is first *resized* to the dimensions of the shape, *then*
intersected, which means extra parts of the image I intended to remove with the
intersection are retained, and the aspect ratio of the original image is
corrupted. Seeing as this is an incredibly common tool people use to introduce
visual variety into their presentations, I feel that this should be made higher
priority, especially considering that it's been a little over a decade since
this bug was first reported.
