Bug ID: 165495
Summary: Drawing elements moved to Tab 1 (Layout) even when it
is locked.
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 24.8.5.2 release
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: minor
Priority: medium
Component: Draw
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
Editing a drawing, I use Ctrl-c Ctrl-v to copy and paste vertical grid lines,
then count moves along the grid to shift the new one to its new position.
Repeat as needed.
Part way through this process, none of the vertical lines were selectable. I
found them on the locked Layout tab (tab 1).
Presumably this is a default action because I did something wrong. What?
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Working on a new tab, I copied a reference drawing from a previous tab,
covered it with a white, 20%(I think) transparency text box, as a background
for the new drawing.
2. I then started to create a local se of axes aligned with the earlier axes.
Working with the underlay was problematical so I removed it.
3. Copying and pasting the vertical axis to make a grid looked OK to the right.
4. Going back to extend the axis to the left, it was no longer selectable. In
fact every vertical line except the final Crtl-v shifted copy had been
transferred to Tab1 (Layout)
Actual Results:
The newly un-selectable lines had moved to the locked Layout tab
Expected Results:
Everything I was working on was only on the only visible tab, which was
unlocked. All other tabs at this stage were locked, and only the default
tabs1-3 were visible (because this has happened before). The features I had
just worked on should have stayed on their current tab.
Reproducible: Sometimes
User Profile Reset: No
