--- Comment #24 from Liudvikas <[email protected]> ---
I'm back to revive this as the issue hasn't been fixed AFAIK. Slightly
different setup:

Thinkpad E15
AMD Ryzen™ 5 5500U with Radeon™ Graphics × 12
16.0 GiB RAM
Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS
Linux 6.8.0-54-generic
Gnome 46
X11 or Wayland (issue present on both)

Tested on the following LibreOffice versions:

Version: 24.2.7.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 420(Build:2)
CPU threads: 12; OS: Linux 6.8; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Ubuntu package version: 4:24.2.7-0ubuntu0.24.04.2
Calc: threaded

Version: 25.2.1.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: d3abf4aee5fd705e4a92bba33a32f40bc4e56f49
CPU threads: 12; OS: Linux 6.8; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

Also tried settings:
Enabling/Disabling OpenCL (enabling turns out to be impossible)
Enabling/disabling Hardware acceleration, anti-aliasing under View tab.

On this setup, even on 1920x1080 resolution, holding down navigation keys
(left/right/up/down/PgUp/PgDn) is overall laggy. Moving the highlighted cell is
moderately laggy, and when it results in vertical/horizontal scroll, there is
overwhelming lag. Also input lag is observed: when a navigation button is held
down for several seconds, scroll continues for several more seconds after its
release.

Happy to contribute more if needed.
