--- Comment #5 from Libomark <[email protected]> --- A bit wonky doesn't begin to cover it. Users need to know how documents will print and how they will appear when they are opened by others. It is one thing to use a corporate or personal style for documents which is well catered for by the system of Templates (although there is a longstanding issue with the lack of ability to set template designs for charts), and quite another to override that through the UI settings to the point where it affects printed and exported output, and suddenly radically alters the appearance of documents. Some users might prefer to work with a different appearance from a dark theme (or feel a need to avoid OLED burn-in), but they need to have a prominent UI button that allows them to toggle between their personal preference and how the document will appear to others and not digging into a fourth level menu (Tools: Settings: Appearance: Setting) to do that. Advice that simply reads "reset personal profile" with no pointer on how to do that, or "use a theme" with no pointer as to how to restore the default appearance of documents by selecting a particular theme is inadequate. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
