Description:
Just found "äußerlich" automatically hyphenated between e an r.
Please add "äu1ßer1lich" to hyph_de_DE.dic.
Steps to Reproduce:
read /usr/share/hyphen/hyph_de_DE.dic
(myspell-de_DE version up to 20240321 tested)
Actual Results:
word not within
Expected Results:
within

This is a Linguistic bug but it DOES affect a particular language only.
Unfortunately this Bugzilla doesn't provide a link to file this bug elsewhere.
In earlier days this word could be hyphenated as äus-zerlich, later
äus-serlich, now äu-ßerlich but never ever äuße-rlich! The only other
possibility would be äußer-lich (when applicable).
What can be done to provide word formation based hyphenation in future?
What can be done to allow selection of old hyphenation rules for quotations of
old texts?
