Description:
The issue appears wether switching manually or by system to dark mode the
system - MacOS 12.7.6 - freezes with high CPU load. The apple menu is not
working as long as LibreOffice menu bar is visible. Switching via task
managment and killing LibreOffice via Apple - force closing app - resolves the
situation.
The bug has been introduce with 25.2.0 and still persist in 25.2.1. The new
appearance dialog is a mess btw, when switching to dark mode now also the
document color itself is switched to black making it imposible to work due to
errors like: gray table lines are switched to black with black font(!) - it
seems nobody tested this on MacOS because these errors are spotable by just
opening a "complex" document.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a complex (? - containing pics and tables) document on MacOS using
light mode
2. Open Preferences - LibreOffice - Apperance - switch to dark mode
3. Try to open Apple icon menu
Actual Results:
See your system freeze and CPU run to 100%
after ~5 mins you can do a mouse click if lucky, see the gray (background)
table rows turn to black with black font, se a black document with unreadable
text
Expected Results:
Switching to dark mode, having a document view to work with (like in 24.x dark
mode)
