Description:
I am a software engineer and I was testing LibreOffice Writer on Debian Linux
with GNOME Flashback Metacity as Window Manager.
Step 1: I created an empty .docx document using LibreOffice and then I saved
it.
Step 2: Then I filled one ""page"" with text having multiple lines.
Step 3: Then I selected all text (by doing Ctrl-A) and pasted it.
Step 4: Then I saved the file.
Step 5: Went to step 3 again.
This process was going all fine until the document had around 51,200 ""pages""
and its size was around 1.3 MB.
Now, when I copied 51,200 ""pages"" and pasted it, then after around 15
minutes, LibreOffice crashed.
The following are the details of LibreOffice Writer installed on my system:
Version: 7.4.7.2 / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 40(Build:2)
CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 6.1; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: en-IN (en_IN); UI: en-US
Debian package version: 4:7.4.7-1+deb12u6
Calc: threaded
