Doesn't change if I recover or ignore the recovery documents - still instant crashing. I realised LO was still active in the task manager so I closed that and still it crashes. I restarted windows and it has loaded without crashing - now about to try accessing the file. It has allowed me to perform some actions so I'll try to complete the task. I did notice from today's auto crash report that the exception is on a C++ function and I have been reading nightmare stories about the fragility of C++ at present.
