--- Comment #81 from [email protected] --- I'm experiencing this slow loading of docs/spreadsheets in various LibreOffice for Windows (10 & 11) versions including 24.x.x and 25.x.x. I've tried setting affected PCs default printer to "Print to PDF" and made sure the Tools > Options > Load/Save > General > Load printer settings with the document is disabled, with the problem continuing. The following does seem to resolve the problem: set SAL_DISABLE_DEFAULTPRINTER=1 set SAL_DISABLE_PRINTERLIST=1 "C:\Program Files\LibreOffice\program\soffice.exe" However, it means the user has to choose a printer each time they want to print the document. Not a major issue but still... If this is the only way to resolve the problem, is there a way to assign these environmental variables to the LO application icons/shortcuts or another tidier way? I know they can be added to each host via sysdm.cpl,EditEnvironmentVariables but I was hoping someone had come up with a fancier way of doing this? Alternatively, if this is a bug in LO (since v3.4.3) is it ever likely be fixed? Thanks -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
