            Bug ID: 165709
Summary: spreadsheet date number typed correctly enters cell
                    incorrectly when 'return' pressed
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 25.2.0.3 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: macOS (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: medium
         Component: LibreOffice
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
have not had a problem entering numbers in the 03-12-25 (MM-DD-YY) format, for
any date, with previous versions. problem started with the 25.2.0.3 release,
when entering March dates, ie 03-. i can copy/paste previous (any month) dates
but changing them is problematic. can change month and/or year, ok; change date
and number changes each time. i can get around this by using text mode and
adding a 'space' before entering the number. i did not previously have to enter
dates as text.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.using a spreadsheet, enter date in number format 03-12-25; not as text with
preceding space
2.number above changes to a different format, not necessarily that date
3.attempting other formats as 'all' or 'user defined' has no effect

Actual Results:
see above. date changes to march 12-03; a five digit number, 12/25/03 or any
combination of available options

Expected Results:
past versions entered the number/date as entered; even after updating versions.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
entered the date as a number 03-12-25 as previous releases have done.
