--- Comment #6 from [email protected] --- Hello, I installed the latest 25.2.1.2 (X86_64) version on 'Win 11 pro' due to some other issues (mainly the disappearing pictures) and came here to see if this calc comment thing is a new bug, apparently not. I previously did not have this issue with 7.x, I think it was 7.1.7 version based on the installation file found from my Downloads folder. So this matches with other experiences here. If it helps figuring out this bug, where moving and resizing the comment does not work, there was also other change than the added author information to the comment field. The old comments did not automatically adjust to width of the text, they only increased in heigth. This had its own issues as the default width was quite narrow and longer texts caused narrow and tall comments, which were sometimes pain to resize with 'show comment' and scrolling the sheet down and up. I think the new buggy comment field starts a bit wider and will automatically get wider as text is added. After certain point in width the comment field widening stops and comment starts to increase in height. This is quite nice, but could be the same new feature that broke the possibility to manually adjust comment size and position. It feels like the new automatic comment width adjustment is overriding the changes made in the 'show comment' mode. Before commenting to this bug, I also found similar very old bug report: Bug 56153 - VIEWING: Hidden Comment box appears at default place and not at place to where moved with active 'Show Comment' Which is from 2012 and version was LibreOffice 3.6.3.1 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
