Bug ID: 165750
Summary: Object resizing - Have Krita behaviour
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 25.2.1.2 release
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: medium
Component: UI
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
Is it possible to have the same behaviour than Krita to move objects ?
On Krita, when you try to transform an object, the mouse is reactive to the
cursor position, and current action is shown by the cursor. For example, when
the cursor is outside of the transforming shape, the cursor changes to the
rotate cursor, and if you click and move, the mouse movement rotate the form.
To resize, it's if you're on one of the points, bend if you're on the line of
the shape, moving the form if you're inside the form.
It's very natural to use, and I were thinking it could be great to have this
same behavior in libre office
Steps to Reproduce:
Try transformation on Krita software and see the behavior.
Actual Results:
Need unnecessary extra clicks to manipulate an object.
Expected Results:
Have a more modern & easier way to manipulate forms
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: Yes
