Using the corrected reproduction steps from
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=149145#c11:

1. New spreadsheet in Calc
2. Enter this in A1: a very long sentence about dogs, jumping and foxes
3. Enter this in B2: don't hide me
4. Enter this in A2: a
5. Hit Backspace to cancel the AutoInput

This is still reproducible.

Furthermore, it's reproducible if Step 5 is instead "finish typing a short word
that starts with a, add for example". This also cancels the predicted text but
does not redraw the underlying graphics.
