Description:
I have a Base application. I a form a have a simple textfield (Varchar). When I
try to write a special character the corresponding menu item is greyed out.
Using the context menu I get the menu item but there is no reaction after
clicking on it.
Typing the decimal value via Alt+number works.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a form with a textfield
2.try to type the symbol for degrees (decimal 176) using the menu entry
3. The item "Special characters" is inactiv
4. Using the context menu, "Special characters is active" but after clicking on
it there is nocreaction
5. Typing Alt+0175 works. Result: °
