I would like to add my support for this & suggestion:

A comment practically has 2 elements: meta-data (author & timestamp), and
content. It would be fantastic if we could tweak the appearance of these as
follows:

1. Whether these elements are joined a) vertically stacked (current Writer) b)
side-by-side, or c) inline (as in the Word example).
2. How the author info is shown: a) full name, b) initials.
3. How the timestemp info is shown: a) date+time, b) date only, c) none.
4. Whether the total height of a given comment is a) fixed, b) grows from a
minimum to a maximum (current Writer), or c) completely responsive (i.e. 1-line
minimum)

Perhaps even 2-3 could be combined using a user-specified format string, e.g.
like this: https://strftime.org/

I have no idea how difficult this would be to add, but would be much
appreciated! Thanks.
