Bug ID: 165865
Summary: Setting: custom transparency for LibreOffice Chart
background picture not saving
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 7.3.7.2 release
Hardware: x86 (IA32)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: minor
Priority: medium
Component: Calc
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
I have a custom background picture for a set of LibreOffice Calc charts. By
default the picture is set to no transparency. Selecting transparency defaults
to 50%, I change it to 80%, and save the chart. After saving and closing the
Calc file on reopening the picture background in the chart is back to the
default no transparency setting.
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Make a chart in Calc. Set the background to "image" and choose style
"stretched" (chart area: area), a dark image will show the bug most clearly;
Change the default transparency "no transparency" to "transparency" and select
80% (chart area: transparency). "OK" to save the changes to the chart, save
and exit the file.
2.re-open the file and observe the chart background is dark again. Go back
into the chart and observe that the transparency for the background image is
reset to "no transparency" (chart area: transparency
3.
Actual Results:
The custom transparency setting for the chart's background image was not saved.
The image selected and the style ("stretched" in this case) are preserved.
Expected Results:
To get the desired image background transparency the settings must be manually
applied each time the file with the charts is opened.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: Yes
Additional Info:
The software should have applied the Calc chart's specified custom transparency
settings when the file was next opened
