/DocChecksum is not part of any PDF specs and only LibreOffice sets that. Why
would any PDF reader implement something that is non-standard and only LO
sets?.. 

Also /ID which is also in the trailer is part of the standard and can serve
this purpose - it's (or should be) a random generated number so "unique" for
each document.
