Bug ID: 165895
Summary: Create Address Data Source dialog doesn't fit on
screen in 1280x720
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 24.8.5.2 release
Hardware: All
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
Some dialogs relating to Mail Merge do not fit on the screen when display is in
lower resolutions.
Steps to Reproduce:
See attachments (to follow in Comments) for screenshot and the file I am
editing. The file doesn't matter.
In writer:
1. Use 1280x720 display resolution.
2. File-->Wizards-->Address data source
3. Other data source, Next
4. Press Settings button
--> the Create Address Data Source dialog does not fit on the screen.
5. Try to resize top of the window.
--> Cursor changes to up-down arrow, but can't be resized. Window moves a
little down when you try.
--> Cannot get to the Next button without changing display resolution.
--> "Steps" is in upper left corner (why?)
--> the line that starts "On the following pages" is cut off the right side.
Expected behavior is the settings dialog fits on the screen and its resize
feature works.
To see another issue, I changed the display resolution to get to the Next
button to continue...
1. Change resolution to 1280x960.
2. Browse for settings file.
3. Pull down the "All files (*.*)" button.
--> Note the choices are cut off on the right.
Expected behavior is for the list to fit on screen.
Actual Results:
see above
Expected Results:
Supported LO features should work correctly in any reasonable display
resolution because some users use this because of vision issues.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
