Bug ID: 165949
Summary: "Insert Manual Row Break" function in LibreOffice
sCalc missing
Product: LibreOffice
Version: unspecified
Hardware: x86 (IA32)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: medium
Component: Calc
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
I want to set the behaviour of SHIFT+ENTER same as CTRL+ENTER do, but can not
find Function "Insert Manual Break" for keyboard settings.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Write some text in a cell.
2. View-Toolbars-Customize-Keyboard
3. Search for some function which does the same as default CTRL+ENTER does
Actual Results:
I can not find any function
Expected Results:
Would be great to have one.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
Additional Info:
Purpose:
I often use entering a manual line break within an sCalc cell (e.g. text with
indentation). I know that CTRL+ENTER will do the job. The problem is that some
other applications (web/software) use SHIFT+ENTER for this behaviour.
This confuses me as I have to remember a specific shortcut for LO-sCalc as
SHIFT+ENTER moves you to the upper cell. I would like to set SHIFT+ENTER to do
the SAME as CTRL+ENTER, but I cannot find the function in the keyboard
customization. The fact that sWriter handles SHIFT+ENTER and CTRL+ENTER in the
same way without any setting adds to the confusion.
