The mentioned example
The issue was addressed for V 24.2.7.2 in https://ask.libreoffice.org/t/120192
and is still present in V 25.2.1.2 (which was used for the example).
I could neither find a realted remark in old releas notes nor ion any help text
or guide, nor a reasonable guess for what the behaviour might have been
introduced.
The attached example isn't a Math document because LibO refuses to store one.
Having embedded one as OLE in Writer it is stored but can't be activated for
edditing after lo0ading.
