Bug ID: 166047
Summary: Drawing shapes in Calc cannot be resized proportional
after reload
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 24.8.6.2 release
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Calc
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
When inserting a drawing object in Calc, object can be resized proportionally
(preserve Width/Height ratio) with Shift key while dragging handles. However,
after reloading the file, Shift key has only effect on preview of the resized
object, but not on the resulting object.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a new spreadsheet
2. Insert > Shape > Basic Shapes > Rectangle
3. Draw a rectangle
4. Check that proportional resizing is working:
- Shift + dragging an handle => preview resized rectangle is proportional to
initial rectangle
- release mouse button => last preview size is preserved and new rectangle is
proportional to initial one
5. File > Save
6. File > Reload
7. Try to resize proportionally the rectangle, with Shift + drag an handle
Actual Results:
Preview rectangle correctly appears proportional. When releasing mouse button,
size of the rectangle return to the size defined by the last position of the
mouse, without preserving Width/Height ratio
Expected Results:
Final rectangle should look like in the preview
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
