Bug ID: 165983
Summary: 48th tip of the day in Hungarian contains a typo in
the Tip of the Day UI, preventing the proper
processing of "%MOD1" key word.
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 24.8.5.2 release
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: trivial
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
In the Hungarian translation for LibreOffice, the 48th tip of the day,
describing the usage of scaling the document using a modifier key (presumable
Ctrl) with the scroll wheel has the space sequenced one character later,
forming the character sequence "a% MOD1" instead of "a %MOD1".
Steps to Reproduce:
Presumed steps I can recreate it:
1. Start writer with a document.
2. If tip of the day didn't show, open it from the Help menu (Súgó > A nap
tipjének mutatása)
3. If it is not showing the 48th tip, request the next tip (Következő tipp)
Actual Results:
The tip was presented, but the sentence specifying which modifier key to press
and hold, in Hungarian, read "MOD1" and the preceding article ended with a
percent sign, without spaces separating each other.
Complete sentence verbatim:
"Tartsa lenomva a% MOD1 gombot, és forgassa el az egérgörgőt a nagyítás
mértékének megváltoztatásához."
Expected Results:
The tip should have referred to the modifier key to be used for zooming the
document by name or the conventional label of the modifier key preceded with
the matching article for the language. For example, for clarification: "a
Ctrl", "a control" or "a kontroll".
Complete sentence example:
"Tartsa lenomva a CTRL gombot, és forgassa el az egérgörgőt a nagyítás
mértékének megváltoztatásához."
Reproducible: Didn't try
User Profile Reset: No

Installed from APT. No idea if this was reported, as I can't formulate a proper
search query for the issue. I have immediately reported it, and did not have
the time yet to even consider installing the latest version and test for the
issue. I'm not aware if the 48th tip has the same index in later versions. I've
made a screenshot of the issue, but don't see how can I attach it to this
report.
