In passing I have to say that it is great that this feature is parameter driven as the best size of the comment marker depends on screen size and user preference. However, the setting of the parameter to change the size is quite technical and obscure to the average user. Maybe there is something more that can be done in the Release Notes when an existing piece of functionality is changed. Perhaps a link to more detailed information such as what you sent me. I am retired now but I was a professionally qualified Software Tester and Test Manager for many years. The trouble with working on a system all the time is that you become so knowledgeable that you forget what it is like to use it as an ordinary user! I think the Release Notes are critical and maybe LO could get ordinary users like me to review them before a release is made available. I would be willing to assist with this although I don't know how I might go about it. Perhaps you could feed my suggestion back to the LO development team?
