Description:
I'm brazilian, and I'm trying to install the 25.2.2.2 version. At this moment,
I have the 24.8.5.2 version, but can't update to the newest. The bug occurs
after the interface wich asks you to create a desktop icon opens, when the
installation begins. The message says (using the Google Translator): "To
install LibreOffice 25.2.2.2 on Windows 8.1, first install the April 2014
update package (kb2919355)", then it just goes to the finishing the operation.
The problem is my Windows is 11 Pro, not 8.1, and the 24.8.5.2 version didn't
ask to download the aforementioned package back then. Moreover, when I download
the package, the operating system does not allow to finish it's installation.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download the LibreOffice 25.2.2.2 package;
2. Try to install it
3. The installation stops after clicking "Install" on the desktop creation
interface
Actual Results:
The software stops and says to install a package of an older version of Windos
8.1, even the operating system being 11 Pro
Expected Results:
Normally installation of the newest version of the software
Reproducible: Always
