Summary: Oddly specific behavior pasting with mouse
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 25.2.2.2 release
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Version: 25.2.2.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 7370d4be9e3cf6031a51beef54ff3bda878e3fac
CPU threads: 24; OS: Linux 6.14; UI render: default; VCL: kf5 (cairo+wayland)
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: CL threaded
When attempting to paste, with mouse right-click, any text at the second
character of the first line of a document, the text will be inserted *before*
the first character. This only happens when attempting to paste the text while
using the mouse (right-click, paste). Ctrl-V, or top menu Edit -> Paste result
in the expected behaviour.
The same odd behaviour was observed in a Windows machine with the same version
of LibreOffice.
