            Bug ID: 166150
Summary: Some UI panes are so large that the action buttons
(OK, Apply, etc.) can't be reached
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 25.2.2.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer

LibreOffice lowriter. I've starting using the Linux Contaner on ChromeOS. This
uses X11 or Wayland. I'm on a 1366x768 screen.

It took me ages to find a scaling of my Wayland frame for lowriter. The problem
was that the Tools -> Customize and Tools -> Options are such large panes that
I had to rescale to access the OK Cancel and Apply buttons.

The Wayland frame on the ChromeOS compositor is very basic and doesn't allow
windows to moved off the screen, or doing any panning or zooming. If it did, I
could drag the window up or down.

I admit it is an unusual system to use LibreOffice on, but the UI for
LibreOffice is heavily loaded. it's generally a good idea to restrict the Panes
for settings to be smaller in size the main application window.

I managed to work-around it. I use the libgtk-3.0 and I had to set the SAL
plugin to use gtk3 and use ~/.config/gtk-3.0/settings.ini use GTK_DPI_SCALE.

I can't remove the title bar from the windows, but Chromium another
Wayland-capable program does not display a title bar.

But anything you can do to reduce the vertical size of Customize and Options
would be good.

Thansk for a great product!
