            Bug ID: 166158
Summary: Editing: If copy and pasting a very long sequence of
data into one part of a Libreofffice calc sheet, the
                    past option is grayed out
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 24.8.6.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Calc
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
Attempting to copy & paste long sequences of data from the Gnumeric
spreadsheet to blank cells on a LibreOffice Calc spreadsheet works without
problems.

If you try to copy & paste the same long sequence from a LibreOffice Calc sheet
to another Calc sheet, or into the same sheet in a different location, the
action is not possible.
The paste option either is not presented or is grayed out, making it
unavailable.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create data, 1 record of date like: 2/01/2022, 23.4, 27.6, 29.5, in a row
across 4 columns. I use market data of Date, High, Low, and Close, from any
source.
2. Make sure you have over 2000 rows of 4 columns. In my experience, 1900 rows
will copy, but 2000 will not. Your mileage may vary, but consistently this is
what I experience.
3. Attempt to copy & paste to the same sheet in a different area or to a
different sheet altogether. The Calc program will let you copy, but give you
no option to paste.

Actual Results:
Again, a normal operation is blocked if more than 2000 rows of 4 columns of
market data are copied, with an attempt to paste somewhere else on the same
sheet or a different one. From the Gnumeric spreadsheet to Calc, it works even
if the file is larger than 2000 rows.

Expected Results:
Expected results of copy and paste of large files, it that you should be able
to do it.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
This is happening on two of my PC's. Hardware shouldn't matter, but these are
old Dell machines, an I5-2400 and an I7-4790.

Still happens after you go into safe mode as you recommended testing, by
resetting my profile.
