While $SYSUSERCONFIG would put it into the os/DE user profile, e.g. %APPDATA%/LibreOfficeDev (normally C:\users\<username>\AppData\Roaming), avoid that if you work with a lot of copies. Better to keep each instance isolated. To start the application, run "soffice.exe" in the new "program" directory from Explorer or from a shortcut link on desktop.
