Description:
When revising a document, if selecting viewing "deletions in margin" and saving
as docx, when opening again, all deleted text has dissapeared (apparently,
actually deleted) and deletions expand to neighbour, following text.
Not happening if viewing "deletions inline"+saving as docx or "deletions in
margin"+saving as odt.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Activate track revisions.
2. Select deletions in margin in the view options.
3. Make changes, save as docx (Word 2007 or Word 2010-365), close the document.
4. Reopen the document.
Actual Results:
Open file. text marked as deleted has dissapeared. Normal or added text
following text marked as deleted is now marked as deleted.
When the file is reopened, view goes to inline. If the file is saved as docx
using that view and reopened, all is good.If the view is changed to "deletions
in margin," saved as docx and reopened, the problem reproduces, even if no
changes are done (text marked as deleted dissapears, following text is now
marked as deleted); some added text might appear as normal text, not as "added
text, tracked."
If the document is saved as odt with "deletions in margin," even after having
been saved as docx, all is good when reopening. If the odt file is saved as
docx after reactivating "deletions in margin," the problem happens again.
Expected Results:
Tracked changes appear the same than before saving and closing the file.
In fact, one should expect the document reopening with "deletions in margin"
view activated (?). No great deal, but it might be a nice enhancement.
