--- Comment #16 from Douglas <[email protected]> --- This is definitely a bug. Our organisation uses grey text on spreadsheets to imply something about the data, not just to make it look pretty. Now that we have a need to change the background conditionally, we create a style that ONLY defines a—pale—background colour. If we wanted a darker colour with that background, we would define it in the style; we do not, as we want to retain the meaning of the font colour and only change the background. It should be possible to state that the font colour of a style is to remain unchanged (which is how it behaves normally when you don't touch it, anyway). To mess about and deny the user the control when making rational use of the software in accordance with how the software works in every other respect... well, it IS a bug! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
