            Bug ID: 166217
Summary: AutoCorrect ignores default substitutions, works with
                    others
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 25.2.2.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: mattia....@gmail.com

Description:
I noticed AutoCorrect feature does not work well since some words substitution
does not always work:
e.g. in Localized Options there is an option to convert >> to ยป
(that is already enabled by default)
but is ignored.

Fun thing: it works perfectly if I add it "manually" in the Replace list!

PS: maybe an issue with localization, since I have a "mixed" system: English UI
but Italian locale ?!

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open Writer
2. type minus sign twice (<<)
3. press Space

Actual Results:
actual result: nothing happens

Expected Results:
expected result: double minus signs have to be converted into angle quote
(guillemet)

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes
