Reproduced in LibreOffice 4.0.4.2 under ubuntu 13.04 x86.

To describe it short:
* Create a new DOC file with more than 2 pages of text;
* Apply "First Page" page style for the first page, "Default" page style for
the rest pages (in fact the rest pages are "default" page style even you dont
select)
* Insert header texts for both the first page and the rest pages, save.
* When reopened, both headers are ok. Now edit the header for the rest pages,
except the first page, save.
* When re-opened, header for the rest pages are gone.

I also noticed that when there is manual page break between the 1st page and
2nd, this issue does not happen.

So, is it because DOC files do not allow different headers when there is no
page break?
