Interesting. It completely doesn't work here. Drag the intersection to my
workspace result in ... nothing.

Why you should so? Looks like this doesn't work as it is mentioned in the
documentation. Possibly related to Bug 65622.

Tested using Windows 8, with LibreOffice 4.1.0.1 and latest master.
Reproducible.
