If the spell check does not sequence through all words and say "Spell Check has been completed 'Ok'" then any corrections will not be saved. If the spell check gets to the completion message then the corrections will be saved. You can not do a partial spell check on a cell. If you paste the words in multiple cells and spell check, completed cells will be saved, ie cell 1, 2 have the same content. If you start spell check on cell 1 and exit spell check while in cell 2, then cell one will have corrections and cell 2 will not. There doesn't appear to be a way to select a single word to correct when autocheck has indicated an misspelling. As long as you know this then all words can be sequenced through.
